Description
The original car was equipped with the 1.1 litre VW engine built under license with the aid of Sachsenring Automobiltechnik and then took part in slalom races. Thanks to various tuning parts the capacity of this light 650 kg car was increased by 55 bhp to 100 bhp. In 1994 the 601 started as an outsider in the Trabant-Lada Racing Cup. Due to tire problems the 601 took 2nd place.

V-8 engine and an engine-turned aluminum panel to house the triple taillight assembly. Kit features a detailed 409 cu. in. V-8 with dual carbs, an optional custom air cleaner and finned valve covers. Also included are bucket seats, a choice of stock wheels and tires or custom wheels with low-profile tires, chrome-plated parts and decals with stock and custom graphics.
