Although it is inspired by technologies used in Formula 1 racing, such as a V-8 engine with direct fuel injection and a steering wheel with easy-to-access controls, the 458 is designed to be driven on typical streets and roads. Famed Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher contributed design ideas for the Ferrari 458’s sleek, stylish interior.
