Description
With the HH-60G Pave Hawk, the US National Guard and the Air Force Reserve have a very high-performance helicopter for SAR missions. The US Air Force has this version on its effective strength for the search and rescue of air crew missing in the battle zone and for transporting special troops. These all-weather capable helicopters are fully operational by night and equipped with state-of-the-art navigation electronics. For export the S-70 series was developed from the H-60. The Austrian Army has nine S-70A-42 helicopters.

Description
The UH-1D, at over 7000 so far, is the helicopter built in the greatest numbers in the western world. It has an outstanding reputation, is reputed to be one of the safest aircraft and, with two large sliding side doors, can also carry bulky loads. The German air force uses the UH-1Ds primarily for SAR missions which also enables them to comply with international safety obligations.

The EC635 is the military variant of the light multirole helicopter EC135. The military version differs in that it has a reinforced airframe and integral weapons hardpoints on the sides of the fuselage. In addition to fire support on the ground its particular specialities include search and rescue missions and the transport of troops and the wounded. The EC635 is used by the Swiss air force and the armed forces of Iraq and Jordan.
