Hi,

We would like to show some typical loadouts in instructions for our new decal set for AMI Tornados.
Can somebody help us and specify some details please?

1. Which pylon was used for the Reccelite pod in Afghanistan?
2. Did Afgan loadout include AIM-9L?
3. How is the AIM-9 launcher called?
4. Is it correct that CLDP pod can be carried on the left fuselage pylon only?
5. Can an auxiliary tank be carried on the centerline pylon?

We would be very grateful for any help.

Rafale Litening POD can be mounted, indifferently, on right or left fuselage pylons. Right pylon is used more often.

2. Did Afgan loadout include AIM-9L?

I think so, but I'm not sure because our Tornados has been used only in the Recce-Role.

3. How is the AIM-9 launcher called?

Yes, it is.

5. Can an auxiliary tank be carried on the centerline pylon?

No. Only buddy-buddy refueling POD can ben carried on centerline pylon.

Adesso parlano di pod/missili e serbatoi...si vede che hanno in mente anche qualcosa in resina

ho visto il suo sito...interessanti anche le decals del Mirage F-1 francesino! Bisogna vedere qualitativamente come sono!
Non so se l'avete fatto già notare, ma nella foto postata da Jacopo che ritrae l'esemplare 6-12, ingrandendo la parte anteriore si nota come la "decal" delle bombe sia quasi cancellata. Il foglio invece la riporta...che sia un errore o è effettivamente sbiadita?

A quanto pare sono state parzialmente obliterate. Poco male comunque... basta una velatura data ad aerografo Francè.

Questo foglio decals non sembra niente male, chi sa sulla bontà del film. Peccato che sono i tornado in 48 che non c'è ne uno buono
