Nazi Germany’s most versatile bomber

Originally designed as “passenger air liners” to get around the Treaty of Versailles, He-111s quickly became medium bombers in the Spanish Civil War. By World War II, these bombers were already in need of upgrades. Many variants were made, including the H variants. They flew fast, flew far and carried torpedoes, bombs, incendiaries and even mines. The Luftwaffe kept building them until the end of the war. Now, you can build one too! This kit features many detailed parts, two bombs, two torpedoes and decals for two versions.

Overview
Skill level: 5

Description
First to the fight

Lockheed® Hudsons were some of the first aircraft available to the Allies. They were unsuited to strategic bombing because of their light bomb load, but their long range made them perfect for coastal patrols. Any German submarine operating within 1,000 miles (1,600 km) of the coast was in danger. Hudsons could spot subs before they dove and their bombs and depth charges made short work of the foe. This kit features many detailed parts and decals for 2 RAF versions: 206th Squadron, Bircham Newton or 224th Squadron Leuchars, Scotland, 1940.

Far more fast, far too few

The Me 262 was one of the world’s first effective jet aircraft. Its airspeed far exceeded that of its piston-powered contemporaries, allowing it to attack and withdraw with relative impunity. When flown by experienced pilots, these aircraft were very effective, frequently achieving four-to-one kill to loss ratios. But it was too late to accomplish much against the gargantuan bomber flights pouring out of England. This kit features an access panel with four 30mm guns, a detailed engine, two bombs and standing pilot and ground crew figures.

From training comes triumph

Fighter pilot training is a rigorous and dangerous process that strains both man and machine. Hawks are made to take all the punishment that inexperienced pilots can cause and keep flying. That rugged dependability led the Hawk off of the training field and into the front-line air-forces of many nations. It is outpaced by many air superiority fighters but excels in the ground attack and interception roles. This kit features many detailed parts, air brakes, under wing pylons with rocket pods and fuel tanks, and decals for two RAF aircraft.

Stronger than a Hercules

It can carry those troopers up to nearly 6,500 miles (10,390 km). That’s literally a quarter of the way around the earth; a flight that, at the C-17A’s cruise speed, would take roughly 12-1/2 hours. It’s a plane that is well-deserving of its own model and Revell delivers! This kit features a fully-detailed C-17A with decals.
