The successor to the Ferrari 450, the Ferrari 458 Italia was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in fall, 2009. Although it is inspired by technologies used in Formula 1 racing, such as a V-8 engine with direct fuel injection and a steering wheel with easy-to-access controls, the 458 is designed to be driven on typical streets and roads. Famed Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher contributed design ideas for the Ferrari 458’s sleek, stylish interior.

Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG recalls the spirit of the classic 300SL Gullwing. A liquid-cooled V-8 engine allows the SLS to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, and 0 to 125 mph in 200 mph. Kit features realistic bodywork with finely structured surfaces, a multi-part eight-cylinder engine, a detailed chassis, an opening hood, a detailed interior with authentic dashboard and textured seats, detailed wheel suspensions, a steerable front axle, movable wheels, true-to-the-original rims and brakes, chrome parts and various decals with international plates.

The new MINI with its round headlamps, striking radiator grille and curved rear reflects the typical features of its English predecessor. This stylistic influence is also expressed in the interior, in particular in the very large speedometer and rev-counter. In this sporty three-door car, the characteristic design of its legendary ancestor makes a familiar, but at the same time a very modern impression. Ultra-modern technology and up-to-date comfort dominate the inner workings of the MINI, which is served by disc brakes, five speed gearbox and electronic stability programme. The 115 bhp Cooper has a 1.6 litre engine, front wheel drive and, as shown in the model, also has a chrome radiator grille.

Monogram 1/32 McLaren M6B #48 Dan Gurney Slot Car

Description
The McLaren M6B was one of the first cars produced by Dan Gurney’s company, All American Racers Eagle. Designed to replace the M8A during the 1968 racing season, the M6B proved to be an excellent starting point for the company. Gurney drove the M6B for two seasons, continuously making modifications as he saw fit. It was nicknamed the “McLeagle” by Can-Am fans, combining McLaren’s name with the “Eagle” from the name of Gurney’s company. This limited edition slot car reproduction of the M6B comes packaged in a special edition box.

07171 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR

This spectacular coupé was developed on the basis of the 300 SLR under the leadership of Rudolf Uhlenhaut. Its 8-cylinders-in-line engine composed of two blocks of four cylinders delivered 300 bhp, a sensational output for 1955 (the Beetle managed 25 bhp). With its top speed of 290 km/h it was the fastest car with a road licence. The coupé had gullwing doors like the 300 SL presented the previous year, a concept that was taken up again in the Mercedes SLS AMG (art. 07100).

Ford formed the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) Department in 1981 to develop high-performance, street-legal cars based on their racing program. Built from 1984-1986, SVO versions of the Ford Mustang were powered by a turbo-charged, inline 4-cylinder engine which produced 175 hp (or 200 hp with a few modifications!). Kit features an opening hood, a replica turbo-charged 2.3L inline 4-cylinder engine with intercooler, a uniquely designed front grille, an aerodynamic hood, a biplane rear wing, forged alloy wheels, soft black tires, satin-plated parts and decals with factory stock graphics.
