The thumbnails can be painted with various colors and various techniques.
The enamels, acrylics and even the ink (not counting the custom mixed colors).

I use the acrylic of Vallejo, are presented in a pack of 17 ml with dropper. They have a wide variety of colors and can be found in sets or briefcases. Using the colors of GamesWorkshop but they are more watery and in packs of 15 ml (costing even more of vallejo). However, both types are very useful to get different effects. Vallejo I are very opaque and can be mixed easily take more because of their moisture, while drying fast enough. GW mixing colors is not difficult but you must be fast because it dries immediately.
Above I wrote that you can also use ink. Can be used to make a miniature bath once completed to give those little reflections or expressions accentuature because, once dried, leaving the thin lines and are great to add shadows. Mainly I use the black, but you can easily get good effects with other colors.
Vallejo The range includes a wide scent of colors for airbrush, so-called Vallejo AIR. These colors are great if diluted with the diluent (thinner) always vallejo. In italy it is difficult to find (in fact I had ordered on ebay from London).

Colors air must be used together with a diluent (thinner) that must be paid directly dropwise nell'aerografo. Next, you'll need a cleaner to remove traces of color and leave the airbrush ready for next use.
